Guitar Hero III; Legends Of Rock



As the host stated "It all depends on preference"
This is the best Guitar Hero out of the series, consisting of four games, the rating of 8.5 is good but in my personal opinion it deserved a 9.

Tracklist
The tracklist is the best we've seen in any rhythm based game and is a step above the rest. With bands like; Metallica, Slipknot and Disturbed theres no way you wont enjoy sitting back and rocking out with your buddy's
I give the tracklist a 8.5/10

New Features
The new features in the game are a excellent addition and without them would make the game seem like Guitar Hero II all over again. The best new feature would have to be battle mode. Being able to verse your mates and actually have an effect on the way they play without grabbing their controller is more fun then it sounds. Also the new boss battles gives the game more of career feeling as you travel around just to beat these guys, although there are only three real boss battles and only two being real guitarist, Guns & Rose's Slash and Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, it is still one of the best features in a game.

New Control
Another new feature added by Neversoft was a new control for both the Xbox 360 & Playstation Consoles (Also the Wii). The new guitars are smoother, heavier and a lot easier to play. There are two designs, the Xbox Black Gibson Les Paul and the Playstation Gibson Kramer. The Les Paul looks a lot better and apparently plays better too.

Characters
While Neversoft decided to take away some old favorites they also added some new characters and completely revamped them. The characters look insanley real and even play in exact motion with the guitar. The new characters and just random rockers but also consist of people like Lou the Devil and The God of Rock.


Other then these few things and the enhanced game play its very similar to Guitar Hero III but still so much better.

I suggest punters play the first two games before preparing to take on this version
This game is well designed and an excellent party game.
Remember kids, don't knock it till you try it

I decided to re-do my blog as I hadn't posted in about 6 or so months and all the post I had on here previously no one had read or really cared about

So here I suppose I'll tell you about things that piss me off, make me happy, or I just want to get off my chest.

Lets begin with the happy part
Life at the moment is the best its been for a while. I have everything going for me. I have the girl of my dreams actually wanting to spend time with me, I have a great part-time job at Coles making $9.80 an hour & I'm currently on Christmas holidays.

I can't wait until Christmas im so damn pumped. I've been waiting all year.
I, being the snoop I am, already know what im getting. An Xbox 360 which is perfect as I've already brought GHIII for it.
At the moment I am in training as my cousin, Dylan, is coming down from Kalgoorlie and he thinks hes going to "rape" me on the game, well my friend, I have a secret weapon, FoF.

In the words of Steven Stifler "Its on like Donkey Kong, BIATCH!"

Now on to the pissed off part;
1.Exams, I really can't stand them, especially when you have a teacher who doesn't think you will pass and shares that with the entire class....sorta
2.This hole Ben Cousins issue, Why wont the media lay off? Don't they get it, he will be better if you just left the poor guy alone, he hasn't done anything to harm you or your family you should leave him and his alone.
3.The election, No matter who is voted in power things are still gonna be fucked up for us. I mean. I love our country just as much as the next guy but the people running it are using more weed then Bob Marley's greatest nephew.
